Newport News Police Department incident report, Oct. 8

The Newport News Police Department reported the following incidents Oct. 8:

Adam D. Groetsch, 22, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication at 12:31 a.m. on 26th Street.

Eric M. Duran, 29, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence at 12:54 a.m. on 26th Street.

Michael D. Robinson, 27, was arrested on a charge of reckless driving at 12:55 a.m. on Aqueduct Drive.

Christopher E. Lewis, 27, was arrested on a charge of assault on a public servant at 3:19 a.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

Bryan Drager, 18, was arrested on a charge of profane swearing or intoxication in public at 4:41 a.m. on 26th Street.

Kwan C. Scott, 26, was arrested on a charge of intentional or unlawful damage done to a monument of value not in excess of $1,000 at 8:33 a.m. on 26th Street.

Trenton R. Birchette, 29, was arrested on a charge of possession or use of drugs at 10:27 a.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

Sarah B. Reed, 43, was arrested on a charge of possession or use of drugs at 10:27 a.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

David E. Tynes, 58, was arrested on a charge of failure to appear in court for a misdemeanor offense at 11:59 a.m. on Jefferson Avenue.
