Lunch menu for Newport News High School, Nov. 5-9

The school lunch menu has been announced for Newport News High School for the week of Nov. 5:

Monday, Nov. 5: Popcorn chicken bowl, cheese quesadilla, sloppy Joe, burrito, green beans and baked beans, applesauce and fresh fruit

Tuesday, Nov. 6: No school

Wednesday, Nov. 7: Nachos with roll, crispy beef steak on bun, corndog nuggets, fish on bun, refried beans and broccoli, chilled pears and fresh fruit

Thursday, Nov. 8: Vegetable beef soup with toasted cheese sandwich, pizza, wafer steak and cheese, hot dog on bun, whole kernel corn and collard greens, pineapple chunks and fresh fruit

Friday, Nov. 9: Macaroni and cheese with ham slice and roll, chicken fries, Rib-b-que on hoagie, grilled chicken pattie on bun, steamed cabbage and butternut squash, spiced apples and fresh fruit

Available daily: Deli sandwiches and wraps, Uncrustable and milk
