The Newport News middle school lunch menu for the week of Monday to Friday, Nov. 12-16, is as follows:

Monday, Nov. 12: Barbecue on bun, beef taco, Gardenburger, southwestern chicken salad, baked beans, broccoli, fruit cup and fresh fruit

Tuesday, Nov. 13: Macaroni and cheese with fish sticks, ham and cheese on bun, bean-and-cheese taco, chef’s salad, spinach, garden salad, applesauce and fresh fruit

Wednesday, Nov. 14: Chicken patty on bun, garlic cheesy bread, corndog, country chicken salad, sweet potato puffs, creamy coleslaw, sliced peaches and fresh fruit

Thursday, Nov. 15: Sliced turkey or ham, cranberry sauce, dressing and gravy, seasoned green beans, yams, wheat roll and fresh fruit

Friday, Nov. 16: Pizza dippers, chicken chunks over rice, half veggie sub and yogurt, Asian chicken salad, garden salad, mixed vegetables, chilled pears and fresh fruit

Available daily: Fresh fruit, baby carrots, yogurt and string cheese with Cheez-It, variety of deli sandwiches, peanut-butter-and-jelly Uncrustable and milk (low-fat chocolate, low-fat strawberry and low-fat white)
