Newport News Police Department incident report, Nov. 9

The Newport News Police Department reported the following incidents Nov. 9:

Josef M. Elliot, 22, was arrested on charges of public intoxication at 2:27 a.m. on Old Oyster Point.

Rayshawn Lawton, 25, was arrested on charges of violation of pretrial release at 11 a.m. on Washington Avenue.

Yolanda W. Spruill, 32, was arrested on charges of contempt of court at 11:12 a.m. on 26th Street.

Renaldo L. Hines, 33, was arrested on charges of municipal ordinance violations at 11:25 a.m. on Savage Drive.

Marianna L. Peterson, 26, was arrested on charges of embezzlement at 11:25 a.m. on 26th Street.

Thaddus L. Henry, 36, was arrested on charges of shooting into an occupied building at 1:20 p.m. on 26th Street.
