Coons records highest men's scratch game at Fort Eustis Lanes
Richard Coons was the top bowler at Fort Eustis Lanes for the week of Nov. 15 with a score of 279.
According to LeagueSecretary.com, following Coons, the top single-game men's scores were bowled by Terry Killion (270), Gregory Jeffreys (269), Robert Williams (261), Frederick Williams (258), Jeffreys (258), Danny Butts (258), Larry Edwards (257), Charles Wright (257) Joseph Thornton (255) Jeffreys (249), Killion (247), John Yannitello (246), F. Williams (245), James Iverson (237), William Matthews (237), Edward Castania (234), Josh Murphy (233), Wright (227), Yannitello (226), R. Williams (224), Michael Davis (222), Ed Castania (222), Kenny Hinds (220) and George Masel (218).
The top men's series scratch scores were Jeffreys (776), Killion (707), F. Williams (706), R. Williams (696) and Yannitello (686).
Fort Eustis Lanes is located at 675 Dickman St., Fort Eustis. The center is a family fun facility with 24 lanes and a brand new bowlers entertainment computer scoring system. All lanes are fully equipped for any level of bowler, including bumpers for those who need assistance.
