Newport News Police Department incident report for Nov. 25
The Newport News Police Department reported the following incidents Nov. 25:
Christopher M. Thomas, 20, was arrested on charges of battery at 12:20 a.m. on 44th Street.
Qulazarreya M. Artis, 20, was arrested on charges of battery at 1:18 a.m. on 44th Street.
Sharieka T. Hawkins, 31, was arrested on charges of public intoxication at 2:23 a.m. on 24th Street.
Phillip J. Holland, 41, was arrested on charges of malicious wounding at 2:44 a.m. on 29th Street.
Cheryl D. White, 48, was arrested on charges of domestic assault at 9:14 a.m. on Mainsail Drive.
Dexter J. Reedy, 42, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence with no license at 10:04 a.m. on Roanoke Avenue.
Vincent A. Santos, 24, was arrested on charges of contempt of court at 2:20 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue.
Carlos J. Robinson, 24, was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen weapon at 7:11 p.m. on Brigstock Circle.
Carrie M. Cox, 29, was arrested on charges of failure to appear in court for a felony offense at 8:16 p.m. on Birch Drive.
Raymond G. Ryan, 36, was arrested on charges of grand larceny at 9:13 p.m. on 26th Street.
An instance of forgery or counterfeiting was reported at a restaurant in the 15400 block of Warwick Boulevard on Sunday, according to the Newport News Police Department. The report, number 201260594, came from the north precinct, in beat 33 and report area 119. The case is under further investigation.
An instance of burglary or breaking and entering was reported at a residence or home in the 300 block of Hughes Drive on Sunday, according to the Newport News Police Department. The report, number 201260607, came from the north precinct, in beat 32 and report area 104. The case is under further investigation.
An incident involving aggravated assault was reported on Sunday in a residence or home in the north precinct of Newport News. The incident was reported in the 700 block of Mainsail Drive, which is in the 34 police beat (report area 139). The case is closed or cleared (by arrest).
An incident involving fraud (illegal use of a credit card or ATM) was reported on Sunday in a department or discount store in the central precinct of Newport News. The incident was reported in the 12400 block of Jefferson Avenue, which is in the 23 police beat (report area 155). The case is under further investigation.
