Newport News Police Department incident report for Nov. 26

The Newport News Police Department reported the following incidents Nov. 26:

Vicky J. Green, 36, was arrested on charges of possession or use of drugs and forgery at 1:27 a.m. on 26th Street.

Derrick D. Waddler, 18, was arrested on charges of petty larceny of value not in excess of $200 at 7:58 a.m. on Deshazor Drive.

Vernon E. Sanderlin, 36, was arrested on charges of distributing or selling drugs at 9:30 a.m. on Marshall Avenue.

Alvin D. Minggia, 20, was arrested on charges of contempt of court at 9:45 a.m. on 26th Street.

Tyrone W. Jones, 44, was arrested on charges of assault at 10:40 a.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

James E. Powell, 42, was arrested on charges of contempt of court at 11:33 a.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

Shauneequa A. Grant, 20, was arrested on charges of domestic assault at 11:56 a.m. on Bellfield Drive.

Christopher S. Stover, 38, was arrested on charges of failure to appear in court for a misdemeanor offense at 2:02 p.m. on 26th Street.

Jamar W. Noel, 31, was arrested on charges of Remove at 2:04 p.m. on 26th Street.

Antonio D. Coaxum, 24, was arrested on charges of contempt of court at 4:30 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

Jill A. King, 35, was arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit felony violation of the Virginia Drug Control Act at 7:13 p.m. on Ivy Avenue.

Shakera R. Pearson, 19, was arrested on charges of contempt of court at 8:03 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

Carlton E. Pierce, 48, was arrested on charges of domestic assault at 9:13 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

Jason Boris, 38, was arrested on charges of unauthorized use of an animal at 9:38 p.m. on 26th Street.

Antonio T. White, 39, was arrested on charges of public intoxication at 10:28 p.m. on Daniel Drive.

A case involving fraud (illegal use of a credit card or ATM) is under further investigation, according to the Newport News Police Department. The crime was detailed on Monday in report number 201209483, at a department or discount store in the 12400 block of Jefferson Avenue (central precinct).

An incident involving forcible sodomy was reported on Monday in a residence or home in the north precinct of Newport News. The incident was reported in the 400 block of Savage Drive, which is in the 31 police beat (report area 83). The case is under further investigation.
